Air Roasted. Never Bitter.

We use an electric fluid-bed (air) roasting process that lifts and roasts the beans on a stream of hot air instead of tumbling them in a hot metal drum.

During the roast, the chaff naturally separates and is removed before it can add harsh notes to the coffee. This helps prevent bitter, smoky flavors and keeps the cup clean and smooth.

OCD: Curator of the Anti-Bitter Coffee

We have partnered with an incredibly talented and passionate roaster, local to Hendersonville, TN. OCD (Obsessive Coffee Disorder) has been long-time friends with Vanilla Moose Coffee, and we are excited to be working with them to bring you the absolute best-tasting coffee imaginable. OCD uses an air-roasting technique and removes the chaff early in the roasting process to eliminate any bitter flavors in your cup. The quality of their coffee beans is unlike any we have ever tasted, so it was a no-brainer to partner with them to roast our coffee.
